Born into a Farming Family in Nakkalapalli, Moinabad
Gouri Satish understood early that education could change the course of a family's future — but also that education was not always easy to access. From the eighth class onwards, he worked part-time to support his own education, graduated from New Government Degree College, Khairatabad, and pursued his M.A. and M.Com. at Osmania University.
He aspired to enter government service and appeared for the Sub-Inspector examination several times. Although he did not succeed, that experience changed the direction of his life. In 2003, he established his first junior college in Shamshabad — and what began as an effort to create an opportunity for himself became a 23-year journey of creating educational opportunities for others.
